I'm A New Christian - What Do I Do Now?
When you received Jesus as the Savior of your soul and the Lord of your life, the heavens rejoiced!
"I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 15:10
Now you face life with Jesus in your heart, as your truest friend. He will guide, comfort, and support your new life with purpose, and with love. You are, in effect, a new person on a new journey. The meaning of life will now be understood, and you will live life as it was meant to be led.
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10
You may feel relieved, you may feel scared and nervous. You may have led a life of 'sin' and be afraid of your desires, and how to handle them. You may not feel any change at all! But one thing is certain, you now belong to Jesus, and He is here for you in this time, and in eternity. You will develop a love for Him that will be above all others, and you will be proud to identify yourself as a follower of Christ - a CHRISTIAN!
So now what? What is the next step? What do you do tomorrow morning when you wake up? First, print off the New Believer's 'Road To Maturity' Guideline, and begin filling it in based upon what you will be asked throughout the following pages This little tour of advice for a new Christian is intended to lead you on the journey to Christian Maturity, and is adapted from the work of Paul Little in How To Give Away Your Faith...
